A READING WITH THE CREATIVE YOUTH COLLECTIVE!
On June 8th, The International Library of Youth Writing welcomed students from the Creative Youth Collective to celebrate their creative, curious and courageous writing. Students were invited to present their work to their families, friends and lovely mentor, Kathryn Gentzke. Each student did a reading of their work, got their book stamped with the library’s crest and received a certificate of acceptance welcoming them to the collection. 24 new books have been add to the library’s assembly from the CCC and will be a part of our archive forever. Stop by the library to see a smattering of these wonderful works.
