In addition to being free and open for the public to drop in 5 days/week, our Library also offers programming including workshops, author/illustrator signings, and readings featuring young authors.

Book Signing with MICHELLE TEA

SATURDAY MAY 24TH AT 11am

A book Signing with Michelle Tea at The International Library of Youth Writing! Join us for a lovely morning with the author Michelle Tea. Enjoy a reading by Michelle Tea and get a signing of Mermaid in Chelsea Creek, Castle on the River Vistula  and Girl at the Bottom of the Sea. Books will be available for purchase. This event is free and open to the public. See you there!

Sunday MAY 25TH AT 11am

A book Signing with Gene Yang at The International Library of Youth Writing! Enjoy a reading of Dragon Hoops by cartoonist and author Gene Yang and get your book signed. Books will be available for purchase. This event is free and open to the public. See you there!

Self-Directed Saturdays ~ Every Saturday, 12pm-5pm

Come in on Saturdays to write, work on your own books, and use our binding machine. Students of any age are welcome to come in, work, receive guidance from one of our librarians, and bind a book of their own.
